The name Aeroheat is still largely unknown in the water sports sector; the German-made hot-air heaters were previously mainly used in motor vehicles in the Scandinavian and Eastern European markets.

This is now set to change with the new D2 and D4 models. The diesel heaters with rated outputs of two and four kilowatts respectively have a patented fuel pump that works without the familiar clicking noise. Thanks to special silencers in the air hoses, the operating noise of the heaters themselves should also be very low. The temperature is controlled electronically, with the heat output being infinitely variable from 900 to 1900 watts or from 1300 to 3800 watts. Fuel consumption at full load is 0.22 or 0.46 litres per hour. The D4 model requires a maximum of 40 watts of electrical power during operation, while the D2 manages with 35 watts.

To make installation of the Aeroheat heaters easier, they are supplied ready to plug in, which means that all cable connections are already assembled and only need to be plugged together. Soldering, crimping or assembly with luster terminals are not necessary. Two control units are available, the basic manual version and a digital model with integrated timer.

The basic package with heater, fuel pump, fuel and exhaust hose and intake silencer costs around 1200 euros for the D2 and 1340 euros for the D4. Added to this are around 160 euros for the respective silencers as well as the necessary hose lengths and mounting brackets. Various air outlets and angle pieces are also available.
